Safety & Hire Information
At PG Bouncy Castle Hire, safety is our priority. All customers must follow the safety instructions provided with their hired equipment.
Please read the following information carefully before your booking.
Before We Set Up
We require a clear and safe route to the area where the inflatable or equipment is going.
The installation area must be clear of anything that could cause damage or injury, including:
- Toys and garden equipment
- Furniture
- Rubbish and debris
- Sharp objects
- Animal waste
- Other obstacles
We will not set up equipment in an area that we consider unsafe or unsuitable.
Important Safety Rules
For children’s inflatables:
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Follow the age, height and weight restrictions for the equipment.
- Do not exceed the maximum user capacity.
- No shoes are permitted on inflatables.
- No food or drinks are permitted.
- No sharp objects are permitted.
- No pets or animals are permitted.
- Do not climb on inflatable walls.
- Do not hang from the equipment.
- Do not use the equipment incorrectly or deliberately damage it.
Adults Using Children’s Inflatables
Unless an inflatable is specifically designed and advertised for adult use, adults must not use children’s inflatables.
Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the specific rules supplied with your equipment.
Pets & Animals
Pets and animals must be kept away from all inflatable equipment.
Claws and teeth can cause serious damage to inflatables and may also create a safety risk.
Animal Waste
Animal waste must be completely removed from the installation area before our arrival.
If animal waste or another safety hazard is present, we may be unable to install the equipment.
Maximum Weight & Capacity
Every inflatable has specific manufacturer requirements regarding user numbers, age, height and weight.
These restrictions must always be followed.
No person exceeding the stated maximum weight for the equipment is permitted to use it.
Equipment Damage
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of the equipment throughout the hire period.
Damage caused by misuse, pets, sharp objects, prohibited activities or failure to follow our instructions may result in the customer being responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs.
Weather Conditions
Outdoor inflatables must only be operated in suitable weather conditions.
If conditions become unsafe, the equipment may need to be stopped or the hire cancelled.
Rain does not automatically mean a booking can be cancelled.
If you have concerns about the weather, please contact us as early as possible.
Access & Installation
Please make sure our delivery team can safely access the installation area.
We need sufficient space to deliver, install and collect the equipment.
Customers must tell us about any access restrictions before the booking, including:
- Narrow gates
- Steps
- Stairs
- Restricted entrances
- Long distances from parking
- Other access difficulties
Supervision
The hirer is responsible for ensuring the equipment is appropriately supervised during the hire period.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult and all users must follow the safety instructions.
Equipment Testing & Maintenance
PG Bouncy Castle Hire takes equipment safety seriously.
Our equipment is maintained and inspected, with relevant testing carried out in accordance with applicable requirements, including PIPA or manufacturer testing where applicable.
